Five steps, in order

Moving from Cloudbet to an alternative: withdraw, settle, close, then open

Switching away from Cloudbet takes five steps, and the order matters more than the speed. Withdraw first, be ready for an ID request under clause 18.1.1 at that moment, settle in a stablecoin, close the account in writing, and open one account in your own name elsewhere.

Moving a balance from Cloudbet to another crypto sportsbook is a five-step job, and each step has a reason to come before the next. The document that shapes the whole order is clause 18.1.1 of Cloudbet's own terms, which we read in an archived copy on 26 August 2026 and which lets the operator ask for identity documents at any time.

What follows is the sequence we would use ourselves. It assumes you are leaving by choice, with a balance in good standing, and that you plan to play under your own name wherever you go next.

Step 1: withdraw before anything else

Take the money out while the account is fully open. Ask for closure only once the balance reads zero; that keeps the two jobs apart, and the withdrawal stays in your hands rather than in a support ticket.

Cloudbet's front page, captured on 6 September 2026, says 90% of its withdrawals take less than two minutes. That is a claim about most requests, made on the operator's own page. We have not read a payout ceiling in its terms. What each alternative prints about speed and caps is on the Cloudbet withdrawals page.

Three habits help:

Step 2: expect an ID request at that exact moment

A large or final withdrawal is when verification is most likely to arrive, and clause 18.1.1 allows it. The clause gives four examples of what may be asked for: an ID, a passport, a bank statement, a utility bill. It reserves the right to verify any customer the operator considers risky or suspicious, and it lets updated documents be requested at any time, including after a check has already been passed.

It names no amount. There is no figure below which you are safe, and none above which a request is certain. The clause is read phrase by phrase on the Cloudbet KYC page.

The practical answer is preparation. Have a clear scan of your passport or ID card, plus a recent bank statement or utility bill showing the address on the account, ready before you press withdraw. When the documents match what you registered with, a request becomes a short delay.

Step 3: settle in a stablecoin

Cloudbet's cashier listed 40 coins when we read it on 26 August 2026. Five are dollar stablecoins: USDT, USDC, USDP, DAI and USDE. SUSDE, also on the list, is a staked, yield-bearing form of USDE, and PAXG tracks gold, so neither behaves like a plain dollar.

Withdrawing in one of the five keeps the value of your money still while it travels, while it sits in your wallet, and while you choose the next site. A volatile coin keeps moving through all three stages.

Before sending, check two things: that the next site accepts the same coin, and that both ends use the same network for it. The network fee is set by the network when you send; the documents we read print no figure for it.

Step 4: close the account in writing

Once the funds have arrived, ask for closure. Cloudbet offers live chat and email support. Email suits this step better, because it leaves you a dated copy.

The documents we read do not set out Cloudbet's closure procedure step by step, so keep the request plain: one message from the email address on the account, asking for the account to be closed and for written confirmation. File the reply with your withdrawal hashes. Sign-up and account terms as we read them are on the Cloudbet account page.

If you are leaving because betting has stopped feeling like entertainment, say so in the same message and ask which self-exclusion options apply. The National Council on Problem Gambling answers at 1-800-GAMBLER.

Step 5: open one account elsewhere, in your own name

The next site runs its own checks, and they may come sooner than Cloudbet's. Open a single account with your real name, date of birth and address, and fund it from a wallet you own. A second account at the same site, or one in borrowed details, is the quickest way to lose a balance, and this site will not help with either.

Our two real-money tests show how differently the moment of verification can fall:

TestWhat happened
Vave, 28 August 2026We deposited, played and withdrew; no ID was requested up to 5,000 USDT
TrustDice, May 2026Crypto withdrawals arrived in 10–15 minutes each; no ID until withdrawals reached about 5,000 USDT in total, then a review, a Veriff link, a passport that passed on the fifth attempt, and a second request by email

Vave is our advertiser and the only paid placement on this site. Its clause 8.7 gives fourteen days to supply requested documents and names account closure and confiscation of winnings as the result of missing that deadline, which is exactly why the account has to be in your own name from the first day.

The order, in one line

Withdraw, verify if asked, hold stablecoins, close in writing, open once. The list of Cloudbet alternatives on our front page sets the options side by side, and the same five steps apply to any of them when the time comes to move again.

Does Cloudbet ask for ID when you withdraw?
It can. Clause 18.1.1 of Cloudbet's terms, read in an archived copy on 26 August 2026, allows identity documents to be requested at any time, from any customer the operator considers risky or suspicious, and again after a check has been passed. It names no amount, so no withdrawal size is safe from a request and none guarantees one. Have your ID and a recent proof of address ready before a large or final withdrawal.
Which coin should I withdraw in when leaving Cloudbet?
A dollar stablecoin that your next site also accepts, on the same network at both ends. Cloudbet's list of 40 coins, read on 26 August 2026, includes five: USDT, USDC, USDP, DAI and USDE. A stablecoin keeps the value of your balance steady while it travels and while you choose where to open next.
Can I open an account at another site before closing Cloudbet?
Yes. One account per site, in your own name and with your own details, is the normal case. What costs people their balance is a second account at the same site, or an account opened in someone else's name. Neither is something we help with.
