Licensed crypto sportsbooks: the register entry behind each Cloudbet rival

Cloudbet's licence is one line in one register: Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/328/0599, held by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., status Active. We put the same question to 15 crypto sportsbooks that work the way Cloudbet does, with sports betting and a casino in one account, and wrote down exactly what each register printed and on which day.

Cloudbet's entry, the one to measure against

The Curaçao certificate portal is searched by domain. Asked for cloudbet.com, it returns a Certificate of Operation naming Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., company number 148526, licence OGL/2024/328/0599, issued under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, P.B. 2024 no. 157. The licence was granted on 23 May 2025. It read Active when we opened it on 26 August 2026, and again on 31 August 2026.

The Anjouan register holds no entry for cloudbet.com, so Cloudbet answers in Curaçao alone. Every line of that certificate is set out on the Cloudbet licence page.

Sixteen sportsbooks, register by register

Registers read 26 August 2026 unless a row gives another date. Vave is our advertiser.

Curaçao only: seven names, three wrinkles

Stake, Sportsbet.io, Thunderpick, Shuffle, BetFury, Bitsler and Vave, our advertiser, answer in Curaçao alone, as Cloudbet does. Most of those entries are plain. Three deserve a second look.

Thunderpick appears in the register, yet its own terms, which we read in full on 2 September 2026, name neither an authority nor a number. For that row the register is the only source.

Bitsler reads Active in the portal. Its own terms (clause 1.1, read 2 September 2026) describe OGL/2024/930/0387 as an application still in progress and say the company operates meanwhile under a transitional Certificate of Operation tied to the older ordinance, P.B. 1993 no. 63. Each statement comes from its own author, and we print both.

Shuffle is the cleanest match of the group: the register, its licence page and its company number, 160998, all agree. Its documents name the issuing body two ways, Curaçao Gaming Authority and Curaçao Gaming Control Board. That is a naming slip, and the number and company stay the same throughout.

Two registers for one brand

Wild.io, TrustDice and Metaspins each hold a Curaçao certificate and an Anjouan licence, and in every case a different company holds each one. Metaspins' own terms print the Anjouan number, while the Curaçao portal returns OGL/2024/1063/0437 for Metaspins N.V. Sportsbet.io also appears in the Anjouan register, under one licence shared with bitcasino.io and livecasino.io.

Two holders behind one logo is common enough. It does mean the company named in the terms you accept is the one that counts, so check which one it is before you deposit.

Anjouan only

Rainbet and Rakebit answer in the Anjouan register, both with expiry dates in 2027. Rainbet's own pages print no licence number; clause 21.6 of its terms sends complaints to “our licensing body Gaming Services Provider N.V.” Wolf.bet prints ALSI-132405048-FI3 in its footer and in clause 1 §1 of its terms, and we recorded no register status to go with it.

Anjouan entries carry an expiry date, while the Curaçao certificates we read carry none. A licence with a printed end date needs a fresh look once that date has passed.

Three rows to read slowly

BC.Game. The Curaçao portal returns OGL/2023/118/0060 for bc.game, granted on 4 March 2024 to Small House B.V., company number 164979, with the status Revoked on 26 August 2026. The Anjouan register returns a separate record under another company. We read both registers on the same day, and neither settles the other. We treat the Curaçao record as not active.

Mega Dice. On 8 September 2026 neither register returned a record for it.

Empire.io, a sportsbook outside the table above, shows the Anjouan status “valid” beside an expiry date of 27 May 2026, three months before we read it. When two values on one screen disagree, ask support before any deposit.

How to check a sportsbook's licence yourself

1. Search the Curaçao portal, cert.cga.cw, by the exact domain you plan to use. The older gcb address now redirects there, as it did when we tried it on 2 September 2026.
2. Match the company and the number to the operator's footer and terms. A mismatch is a question for support, and it proves nothing by itself.
3. Name your source. Curaçao also publishes a PDF register that is reissued every few days, lists no domains and does not always agree with the portal.
4. For Anjouan, read the expiry date as well as the status.
5. Watch for old-regime wording. “Curaçao eGaming”, “Antillephone N.V.” or a number in the 1668/JAZ style dates the text. Bitcasino.io's footer prints OGL/2023/111/0069, while its AML page, headed “Updated: 24.11.2022”, still prints 1668/JAZ.

What a licence entry leaves out

A register line says that a named company held a numbered permission with a given status on a given day. Whether a site accepts players where you live is a separate question, covered on where Cloudbet works. When ID gets requested is another, compared clause by clause on ID checks compared.
