Founding years, sourced
Established crypto sportsbooks: Cloudbet since 2013, and who came after
Cloudbet's own front page says it has paid out in real time since 2013, and no crypto sportsbook we compare states an earlier start. Here are the years its rivals print about themselves, from Bitsler's 2015 to Vave's 2022, with where each was read and what a date can and cannot prove.
Cloudbet dates itself to 2013. Its front page, captured on 6 September 2026, promises real-time withdrawals since 2013, and its casino page says it has been paying out players since that year. No crypto sportsbook we compare states an earlier start; one other brand, Nitrobetting, states the same year.
That makes Cloudbet the established name in this group. Below are the start years its rivals print about themselves, followed by a plain account of what a start year can and cannot tell you before you deposit.
Which years count
A year appears here only when the operator states it about itself: a homepage line, an about page, a press release, a sentence in the terms. Years printed on review sites are left out. They get copied from page to page until nobody can say where they began, and when the copies disagree there is nothing to settle them with.
Two near-misses are left out as well. A copyright range is not a launch statement: Wolf.bet's footer carries 2019–2026 and Metaspins' carries 2022–2026, and neither brand says when it opened. And a company's incorporation date is not a site's launch date: Shuffle's AML policy says its operator, Natural Nine B.V., was incorporated in 2022, which dates the company rather than shuffle.com.
Start years, as the operators state them
Read 26 August 2026 unless marked. A dash means the documents we read give no year.
| Brand | Year stated | Sportsbook | Where the year comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudbet | 2013 | yes | front page and casino page, captured 6 Sep 2026 |
| Nitrobetting | 2013 | — | own pages |
| Bitsler | 2015 | yes | homepage, 2 Sep 2026; footer reads 2015–2026 |
| BC.Game | 2017 | yes | own pages; Curaçao record marked Revoked |
| TrustDice | 2018 | yes | own pages |
| Rocketpot | 2018 | yes | own pages, 2 Sep 2026 |
| BetFury | 2019 | yes | own pages |
| Vave | 2022 | yes | own pages |
| Wild.io | 2022 | yes | own pages |
| Jack.com | 2022 | yes | press release of 29 May 2026, and homepage |
| Mega Dice | 2023 | yes | own pages; no record in either licence register, 8 Sep 2026 |
| Rakebit | 2024 | yes | held in our records; the source page was not logged |
| Shuffle | — | yes | none in its own documents, re-read 8 Sep 2026 |
| Bitcasino.io | — | at its sister site | none on the site, help centre or terms, 2 Sep 2026 |
| Stake | — | yes | none recorded |
Two rows changed after a second reading. Shuffle was listed as 2023 after our first pass; when its terms and policies were re-read on 8 September 2026, no launch year was there, only the 2022 incorporation date of its company, so the later reading is the one printed. Mega Dice keeps its 2023, but the year sits beside a missing licence record, a reminder that an age claim and a licence answer different questions.
The best-sourced year: Jack.com
Jack.com, formerly Jackbit, calls itself a crypto casino and sportsbook, and it states 2022 twice. A press release dated 29 May 2026 says the brand was founded in 2022, and its homepage says it has been operating since 2022. Two statements from the company, one of them dated, is as good as a founding year gets, and it is rare.
Cloudbet's start year against its licence date
A brand's age and its licence's age are different numbers, and in Curaçao they sit far apart. Cloudbet's current certificate, OGL/2024/328/0599, was granted on 23 May 2025 to Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, P.B. 2024 no. 157. That is thirteen years of trading and a little over one year under the present licence.
Register dates as read between 26 August and 2 September 2026:
| Brand | Start year | Current Curaçao licence granted |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudbet | 2013 | 23 May 2025 |
| TrustDice | 2018 | 16 July 2024 |
| Wild.io | 2022 | 14 April 2025 |
| Vave | 2022 | 19 May 2025 |
The certificate itself, and how to check it, are on the Cloudbet licence page.
What a start year proves
It proves the brand has kept a product running under its own name for that long. For Cloudbet that is thirteen years of public record that a reader can look up. That is useful context, and it is where a start year's value ends.
What a start year leaves open
Licence status. BC.Game states 2017, and its Curaçao record is marked Revoked. The early year sat beside the revoked record and changed nothing about it.
The wording of the terms. Cloudbet's clause 18.1.1 names no amount at which ID is required and lets it ask again after a passed check. Vave's clause 8.7 lets it ask before any payout. Both wordings are independent of when the brand began.
Payout speed. Cloudbet's front page says 90% of its withdrawals take less than 2 minutes. That is its own claim; we have not tested Cloudbet with money. Our two real-money tests were at TrustDice, a 2018 brand, in May 2026, where crypto withdrawals arrived in 10 to 15 minutes each, and at Vave, our advertiser and a 2022 brand, on 28 August 2026, where we deposited, played and withdrew with no ID requested up to 5,000 USDT. Neither result had anything to do with the year either brand began.
Cloudbet's speed claims, set against what its terms print, are on the Cloudbet withdrawals page. Across the full set of crypto sportsbooks like Cloudbet, a start year is one line among many and rarely the deciding one.
