The Curaçao certificate

Cloudbet license: the Curaçao certificate, the owner and how to check it

Cloudbet runs under Curaçao license OGL/2024/328/0599, granted on 23 May 2025 to Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. and marked Active when we read the register on 26 August 2026. Below is every line of the certificate, the 2024 Curaçao law behind it, and the steps to run the same check yourself.

Cloudbet's license is a single Curaçao certificate, number OGL/2024/328/0599, and it takes about a minute to confirm. We queried the Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate portal for cloudbet.com on 26 August 2026 and opened the certificate again on 31 August 2026. Both times it read Active. Here it is line by line, followed by who the license holder is, the law it sits under, and how to check it yourself.

Who owns Cloudbet

The company on the certificate is Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., which the certificate places under the laws of Curaçao with company number 148526. That number is the handle to use if you ever need to name the operator in a complaint.

The certificate stops at the operating company. The documents we read do not name a parent group or the people behind Halcyon Super Holdings, so this page names none.

The 2024 Curaçao regime

The certificate cites the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, published as P.B. 2024, no. 157, as its legal basis, and it is issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority itself. The “OGL/2024” prefix in Cloudbet's number matches other Curaçao licenses in the same portal, such as Vave's OGL/2024/1676/0905 and Stake's OGL/2024/1451/0918.

Two names still turn up on older gambling pages: Antillephone N.V. and Curaçao eGaming. Both belong to the earlier master-license era. A page that describes Cloudbet's license with either name is out of date.

One detail the certificate leaves open: the number carries 2024, while the grant date is 23 May 2025. The certificate does not explain the gap, and we do not guess at it.

Two Curaçao sources that disagree

Curaçao publishes its licenses in two places, and they do not always agree on the same numbers.

The certificate portal is searched by domain. Enter the address you actually play at and it returns a certificate with the company, company number, license number, grant date and current status. Every Curaçao entry on this site comes from it.

The PDF register is reissued every few days and lists license numbers, companies, company numbers, dates and statuses. It carries no domain names, so it cannot be searched by the one thing a player knows: the web address.

Because the two can contradict each other, “license verified” means little until the source and the date are named. Ours is the certificate portal, 26 and 31 August 2026.

What the status words mean

The portal can return more than Active. When we ran the same search for other gambling domains on 26 August 2026, it also showed certificates marked Revoked, domains listed as removed from the registry, pages stating that the certificate is not valid, and searches that found nothing.

Only Active describes a live license. A Revoked certificate still shows a company and a number, which is why some pages copy the number and drop the status. A domain missing from the Curaçao portal may answer in another register, such as Anjouan's, so check the register the site itself names.

How to check it yourself

  1. Open the certificate portal on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's own site. Avoid links from review pages, including ours, and type the authority's address yourself.
  2. Search by domain, not brand. Enter cloudbet.com, the address in your browser bar.
  3. Match three lines. The company should read Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., the company number 148526, and the license OGL/2024/328/0599.
  4. Read the status and note the date. Active today says nothing about next month.
  5. Make sure the domain matches. One license number can be printed for several brands, so a number without the domain beside it proves little.
  6. Look again before a large deposit. Statuses change, and a second look costs a minute.

Most crypto sportsbooks like Cloudbet now answer in the same Curaçao portal, so the license alone rarely separates them. Terms, ID rules and payout records do. The full comparison is on licenses compared, and the wider list of Cloudbet alternatives adds offers and our two money tests.

What the license does not tell you

A certificate confirms who may operate cloudbet.com and under which law. It sets no payout time, no withdrawal ceiling and no ID threshold, and none of those appear on the certificate. For those, read the terms. The safety picture as a whole, including the signs worth watching, is on is Cloudbet legit?, and the full product verdict is in the Cloudbet review.

Cloudbet’s number sits among its peers in how the 2024 Curaçao licence numbers read.

What is Cloudbet's license number?
OGL/2024/328/0599, issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority. The certificate portal showed it as Active on 26 August 2026 and again on 31 August 2026.
Who owns Cloudbet?
The certificate names Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., incorporated under the laws of Curaçao with company number 148526, as the operator of cloudbet.com. The documents we read do not name any parent company behind it.
Does Cloudbet hold an Anjouan license?
The Anjouan public register, checked on 26 August 2026, holds no entry for cloudbet.com. Cloudbet's license is the Curaçao one.
