Three promo lines, read

Cloudbet's '10% rakeback from day one', and what its terms would need to say

Cloudbet's promotions page promises 10% rakeback from day one for a new player's first 30 days, rewards with no rollover, and 2.5% lifetime rakeback for referrals. Each is a percentage with no base printed beside it, so here is what the terms would need to add, and how four other sites write their rates.

Cloudbet's promotions page, captured by 6 September 2026, makes three rakeback-style promises in a handful of lines: “10% rakeback from day one” during a new player's first 30 days, Cloudbet Rewards with “no rollover requirements”, and “2.5% lifetime rakeback” through its referral program. All three are percentages, and none of them says, on that page, what the percentage is taken from.

Cloudbet promotions page with a welcome package of up to $2,500 cash, Cloudbet Rewards, a referral programme and Pragmatic Play Drops and Wins
Four offers on one screen. The welcome package promises 10% rakeback from day one for 30 days, and the Rewards card says no rollover requirements; neither line carries a clause number on this page.

That missing word decides what the offer is worth. Below are the three lines as printed, the questions each one leaves for the terms, and the way four other sites write their rates down.

The lines as printed

  1. Welcome Package: up to $2,500 in cash, “10% rakeback from day one”, daily cash drops, the “first 30 days”.
  2. Cloudbet Rewards: described as having “no rollover requirements”.
  3. Referral Program: “2.5% lifetime rakeback” and “up to $2M in level-up bonuses”.

The same page lists Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins, a promotion from the studio Pragmatic Play. We print no codes or referral links for any of these offers.

“10%” of what?

Rakeback is always a share of something, and the something differs from site to site. It can be a share of the house edge on each bet, a share of the operator's net revenue from your play, or a share of the stake itself. The same “10%” produces very different sums on each of those bases.

A sportsbook adds one more layer. On a sports bet, the house edge is the margin built into the odds, and the documents we read leave Cloudbet's margins unstated. So even rakeback defined as a share of the edge would need a margin figure before anyone could price it.

The terms would also need to say when day one starts, at sign-up or at first deposit; which products count during the 30 days; how often rakeback is paid, and in which coin; and whether it has a ceiling.

“No rollover requirements” on which reward?

This is the most valuable line on the page if it holds, because a reward without rollover can be withdrawn as it lands. The page attaches the phrase to Cloudbet Rewards. Whether it also covers the welcome rakeback and the daily drops is a matter for the bonus rules, and we have not read a Cloudbet bonus rulebook. What the welcome offer itself says is on the Cloudbet bonus page.

“2.5% lifetime” of whose play?

A referral rate is paid on someone else's activity. The terms would need to say what the 2.5% is a share of, whose losses or turnover count, and what “lifetime” means: the life of the referred account, or the life of the program.

Rates other sites put in writing

Reading the table

Vave's points are the easiest to price. One point per 30 USDT on slots and 200 points for 1 USDT work out at 1 USDT back for every 6,000 USDT wagered on slots, roughly 0.017%. Small, and written down, which is what makes it checkable. The weekly loss-back of up to 7% from VIP level 1 is a separate reward on a separate base. We also tested Vave with our own money on 28 August 2026: we deposited, played and withdrew, and no ID was requested up to 5,000 USDT.

Stake.us names its base outright. In its own worked example, 10 Stake Cash played at a 1% edge carries 0.1 in edge, and 3.5% of that is 0.0035 Stake Cash. The same article says most of Stake's originals carry a very low edge, so they return less rakeback than studio games.

TrustDice and Rakebit publish headline ceilings, up to 20% and up to 100%, with no base beside them in what we read. A 100% share of a thin edge can pay less than 10% of a wide one.

Five sentences that would make the promise checkable

With those five in a numbered clause, Cloudbet's line would sit in the table above with a base beside it, and the full verdict on the Cloudbet review could price it. Until then, our comparison of crypto sportsbooks like Cloudbet treats the 10% as a headline and the rates written down elsewhere as the figures.

What is Cloudbet's 10% rakeback?
A line on Cloudbet's promotions page, captured by 6 September 2026, promising '10% rakeback from day one' as part of the welcome package during a new player's first 30 days. The page does not say what the 10% is a share of, and we have not read a Cloudbet bonus rulebook that does.
Does Cloudbet rakeback come without wagering?
The promotions page describes Cloudbet Rewards as having 'no rollover requirements'. Whether that phrase also covers the welcome rakeback and the daily cash drops is for Cloudbet's bonus rules to settle, and those are not among the documents we read.
Is 20% or 100% rakeback better than 10%?
Only once each site says what the percentage is taken from. Stake.us writes 3.5% of the house edge; on its own example of 10 Stake Cash played at a 1% edge, that returns 0.0035 Stake Cash. A large percentage of a small base can pay less than a small percentage of a large one.
